Preventative dental care and early treatment are the keystones of good oral health. We believe patients should be able to access them in an affordable, effective way.
The Elgin Dental Plan offers regular hygiene visits, which maintain your oral health and smile. Plan members have less likelihood of a dental emergency and prompt treatment in the event they have a problem.
Being able to budget for the year gives you peace of mind, along with a discount on dental treatments, priority appointments and complimentary x-rays. Different types of dental plans are available to suit you and your family:
☀ Silver Membership
The cost of our silver membership is just £21 per month:
- One dental examination annually
- All necessary intra-oral x-rays
- Two 30 minute hygiene appointments
☀ Gold Membership
Elgin Dental Plan Gold membership is £26.00 per month:

- All necessary intra-oral x-rays
- Two 30 minute hygiene appointments
☀ Platinum Membership
The fee for platinum membership is £32.00 per month:
- Two dental examinations annually

☀ Children’s Membership
Free to age 5 with family member, then £17.50 per month:

Bringing younger children to a dentist helps their oral health and sets good habits for a lifetime. We are keen to see this happen and where their parent, or guardian are plan members, we do not charge for under 5s.
After their 5th birthday, children’s membership is kept at £17.50 per month.
☀ Family Membership
If three or more family members join our dental plan, costs for all are reduced by a further 5%, which could typically save £20 to £30 per year.
Our prime wish is to encourage family involvement. Regular dental visits really are the best way to maintain health and avoid further treatment.
Wider Benefits
All of the Elgin Dental Plans include:
- Oral hygiene and dietary instruction
- Access to our dental emergency service
- Priority appointments across our staff
- 10% discount on most dental treatments
If you did need significant care, the saving could be notable, although a dental plan tends to reduce the need for major treatment. By all means see further information on why people choose a dental plan and tend to stay with the option.
You can join today, ask our staff for an application form and post, or hand this in. There is a one-off joining fee of £10 for adults, or £5 for children and if for any reason you need to withdraw, simply give 3 months notice by post, or email.
In a similar way, Elgin Dental Plan benefits are only available after the first 3 months of subscription, helpful to join 3 months or more before your next routine visit is due.
New patients joining the practice will be charged for their first examination and hygiene appointment, then all normal benefits apply.
