Shahrzad is Elgin Dental Care’s endodontics specialist, providing treatments which help to save our natural teeth, such as root canal therapy.
Her initial qualification from the Royal London Dental Hospital in 1992 was followed by Faculty of Dental Surgery admittance to the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1995, a key element in specialist progress.
Shahrzad then joined the Endodontics MSc program at the Eastman Dental Institute, completed with distinction in 1999. Her innate ability leading to a three year appointment as a full time lecturer in endodontics at the Eastman.
By 2002, Shahrzad had been awarded membership in restorative dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons and gained entry into the specialist list for endodontics. A field she has continued to take forward.
Shahrzad has served on the executive board of the prestigious Langham Endodontic Group 2009 – 2015 and was president of the society from 2014 to 2015.
The contribution to her patients oral health is however more important to Shahrzad. Her enthusiasm for a quite focused area of dentistry comes from understanding the benefits this can offer.
