Azza qualified from Kings College London in 2011. After completing her vocational training year, she spent 3 years at hospitals in the West Midlands, working in oral and maxillofacial surgery and oral surgery/medicine.
A post in oral and maxillofacial surgery followed, before Azza returned to London. She now holds a senior post at Guys Hospital London, alongside providing oral surgery on a private basis at our practice.
Working in a variety of settings has enabled Azza to gain vast experience in dentoalveolar surgery, in particular third molar surgery, surgical exodontia and soft tissue procedures. Her interest in sedation and helping anxious patients is particularly valuable.
Azza is committed to providing the best possible patient experience and equally passionate about helping others to do so. She regularly teaches within the field of oral surgery, to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
A seat on the admission panel for potential students at Kings College London brings her into further contact with new dentists. Where Azza is in a good position to discuss essential skills and the importance of empathy with patients.
She is noted for her gentle, relaxed attitude by patients and staff. Built on an understanding of the anxieties and worries patients may have, whether attending for wider dental needs, or surgical treatment.
Azza will always take time to thoroughly explain treatment to each patient, ensuring they are informed and feel comfortable to go ahead. Part of her wish to achieve a high standard of dentistry in an ethical manner.
